The debut release from Texas Recordings Underground (T.R.U.) is executively produced by TX Connect’s Gavin Guthrie. This electro EP features heavy hitters E.R.P. and Cygnus as well as new-comers Vectorvision and Textacy. The Cyber_Tex EP is the first in a line of techno and electro EPs from the label with upcoming releases from Bill Converse (who recently released an LP on Dark Entries) and TX Connect.

E.R.P. is the brainchild of Gerard Hanson, who also records as Convextion and has released some of the most seminal techno and electro of the last decade and a half. His live shows have become must-sees and his releases have been staples among the likes of Derrick May and Juan Atkins as well as sought-after collectors items.

Cygnus is best known for his releases on Sheffield UK label Central Processing Unit and recently toured the U.S. with Autechre. 2 tracks are included here - Make the Brain relax is pure detroit electro and Pink Lipstick a vocal electro track featuring Dolly Vicious.

Rounding out the EP are Vectorvision’s Betacloud, an 80s-era no wave electro cut, and the deep electro cut Gorgon by Textacy.
